Passion Projects

Our final project in GT is to apply the research, leadership, technology, or problem-solving skills students have gained over the years of GT to a real-world project. They were to choose something that they are passionate about. The requirements: Learn something (research), Make or Do something, and Share. Presentation day is May 10.
Students could choose to work alone, with a partner, or with a group. So what are they doing? Ask your child! We have 10 projects in progress. One group is running a fund raiser for a local animal shelter, several are researching a topic and creating documentaries, someone is learning the programming language for an Arduino microchip to design (with digital electrical components) a functioning calculator, and another group is learning music skills as they harmonize, film, and edit a lyric video. Wow! So much creativity in this group! I can't wait to see the final results of these ambitious student-led projects.

Pipe-Cleaner Challenge
