The Making of Fred's Journey: Behind the scenes

Third graders got a realistic view of all it takes to create a movie! This one day project had kids working hard all day! Students followed directions to create a working construction with a motor, then modified it to show creativity. They developed a scene of the story and using our coding software, programmed the robot (boat) to move and make sounds to compliment their portion of the story. Atlases were used to determine where in the world Fred would visit and they even designed the backgrounds for their scene. Wow! What a busy day!
